While Jade left Unleashed disillusioned, Lana Star saw WOW…Unleashed as the pinnacle of her career. The Hollywood girl had been using WOW as a stepping-stone for film stardom. The blonde bombshell joined the organization with the hopes that movie producers would single her out. She stopped matches to fix her hair and powder her nose to insure she looked her best. Lana repeatedly attempted to take over the show, claiming she was the true executive producer. The Hollywood hopeful even renamed the program "The Lana Star Show" and made numerous unscheduled appearances demanding close-ups and special treatment. For some reason producer David McLane always seems to acquiesce to the bombshell's demands.

Lana Star repeatedly attacked opponents, blinding them with hairspray and breaking mirrors over their heads. Randi Rah Rah needed emergency eye surgery that kept her out of action for three months after a particularly brutal Lana attack. The Hollywood Girl also bashed her one time assistant Poison. Poison in return sabotaged the blonde's shampoo to dye the famed mane green. Lana swore revenge and challenged the toxic terror to a match.

Lana surprised her foe by introducing her new assistant Patti Pizzazz who broke a mirror over the venomous one's head. Poison joined forces with Ice Cold hoping to gain some retribution against the blondes. The bout was a clinic in double-teaming and rule breaking. Single matches were equally uncontrollable ending with the competitors ultimately trying to cut each other's hair. This led to a groundbreaking match at WOW…Unleashed - a tag team match with the wrestler pinned having her head shaved.

Ice Cold and Poison decided the key to victory was to divide and conquer. The icy one kidnapped Patti Pizzazz leaving Lana on her own. The Hollywood girl appeared on crutches claiming she was injured and could not participate in the hair affair. This drew the ire of producer McLane and he and Star exchanged threats in the ring as both attempted to wield their influence. This time McLane was adamant, the match would go on. Despite the two-on-one advantage, the blonde brought her crutch into play and dropped Ice Cold for the win. Barbers strapped the Frozen Fighter to a barber chair and shaved her head bald. Lana joyfully watched the shearing and collected the fallen tresses as a souvenir. The bombshell's good fortune would continue later when she was declared the winner of the swimsuit competition under dubious circumstances.
