With WOW…Unleashed, the organization's first pay-per-view event (and, in fact, the first live all-women's pay-per-view event in history), approaching, the two signed off on a rematch. Gold committed herself to regaining the title. Miss Fitness would not be caught off-guard by the intimidator's onslaught. During the match, both Gold and Danger were knocked out after a mid-ring collision with the referee. Riot charged to ringside and grabbed her one-time partner. Fueled by rage, the heavy metal maniac power bombed Danger through a table exacting bitter revenge. She rolled her foe back into the ring as a recovered Terri Gold executed her "Perfect 10" back flip off the ropes to regain her championship.

Later that night Riot continued her attack on Danger as the former champ approached her Jeep. Riot flew past on a motorcycle and blasted her in the back with her bat. She then dismounted used her weapon as a lever, wrenching her opponent's leg to an inhumane angle and shattering the intimidator's knee effectively crippling her. Riot rode off in a cloud of dust leaving Danger writhing in agony on the cold pavement. The Dangerous One would require extensive surgery to repair her mangled limb.
