While Danger served her suspension, Riot bypassed her in the rankings to become the number one contender and earning a shot at WOW Champion Terri Gold. Before the match could get underway, the Dangerous One interrupted the proceedings and promptly plowed Riot through a table. Proclaiming herself the new number one contender, Danger demanded a title shot and was granted a match on the spot. Using the most vile tactics, including leaping from the ring with Terri Gold in her grasp to drive the startled champ through a table 10' feet away, Danger captured the championship belt. During the rematch both Terri Gold and the new champ were knocked out in a mid-ring collision with the referee. Riot ran to ring side and gave Danger a taste of her own medicine power bombing Danger through a table. This turned out to be the beginning of the end as Danger lost the title back to Terri Gold.
