Kandi “The Heavy Hitter” Krush, a member of one of WOW’s most dominant factions, Top Tier, might as well have brought an umbrella to the WOW Official Podcast with all the shade she threw at fellow member Coach Campanelli. The pair, along with Gloria Glitter, have been a united and terrifying force on the WOW roster since March of 2023; boasting a trios championship reign of 728 days, almost two full years.
Recently, after losing their WOW World Trios Championship Titles to Monsters & Metal, Top Tier have fallen into chaos. Coach Campanelli became obsessed with identifying Top Tier’s weak link, sending her team into singles matches to assess their individual skill level since each member hails from a different wrestling related discipline. Krush has become increasingly more vocal regarding her interpersonal tension with Coach, going as far as to call her out mid in-ring promo to ask if Coach was planning to test herself in singles competition. Always one step ahead, Coach calmly agreed that she would subject herself to these tests as well, but based on Krush’s podcast appearance, this wasn’t enough for the Heavy Hitter.
Krush: “She has underestimated me… What happens when you underestimate a champion like me, you end up on your back staring up at the lights, just dizzy… with regret that you ever thought you could step in the ring and beat Kandi Krush.”
On May 16th, Kandi Krush defeated Lil J-Boogie in singles action, passing her “test” and proving her worth to Coach Campanelli.
Krush on Coach’s singles match test: “[Coach] taking on Xena Phoenix, to me it’s like.. You’re taking on an opponent that one of your teammates already beat, I don’t know, is she taking the easy way out? ….I”ll probably catch so much heat for this…but this is the monster you made.”
Krush on her role in the company: “That’s what I have big shoulders for, so I can carry this company on my back, as I already do. One day David will realize that.. I am true champion material”
