Abilene feuded with The Beast for over a year, avoiding championship defenses due to a questionably consistent list of injuries, until finally The Beast won out as the new WOW World Champion.

While healing from an injury suffered from an accidental fall out of a VIP DJ booth, Abilene Maverick started thinking about her legacy at WOW and began the search for a protigé. One night, while partying in the most exclusive club in Las Vegas, Abilene met 90 Day Fiance star Paola Mayfield. The two VIPs hit it off instantly, bonding over crazy fan stories, fashion faux pas, and designer bags. As they chatted, Abilene realized she’d just found her new recruit! With perfect timing, Abilene Maverick brought Paola Mayfield to the WOW arena, and has been vying for a Championship Title match on Paola’s behalf ever since.
