Hailing from the edge of the Amazon, and taking the ring barefoot is the one and only Jungle Grrrl!
Swinging into people’s hearts as one of the original WOW Superheroes, Jungle Grrrl surprised audiences with her 2013 return; challenging the one and only Lana Star for her chance at the WOW Championship Title. Though the two shared the roster during previous seasons, this was the first time Jungle Grrrl and Lana Star went toe-to-toe in the squared circle. Kitty, Lana’s personal assistant, was watching ringside, interfering throughout the match and hoping to help Lana capture her prey.
In a final attempt to sabotage Jungle, Kitty smashed Lana’s pink hand mirror straight into Jungle Grrrl’s head. With the broken mirror glass spread over the WOW ring apron, Jungle had enough… pulling Kitty into the ring, delivering a body slam and powerful high-flying splash! Lana took this as an opportunity to escape, taking off to the stage area. Nice try Lana! With her impressive agility, Jungle Grrrl sprinted from the ring and caught Lana, carrying her back to the ring to finish the job. Jungle climbed to the third rope delivering her Jungle Splash to Lana and ultimately getting the pin, making her the WOW World Champion! Fans stood shouting … “it’s about time!”
