Growing up as the quiet kid from St. Louis, Tara Strike struggled to find her voice. In fact, she didn’t speak in full sentences until she was eight years old. But everything changed the day her grandfather turned the television on to a wrestling show. As she watched the action unfold, something inside her awakened, wrestling wasn’t just entertainment; it was a calling.

Wrestling became the heartbeat of her family. Some of Tara’s most cherished memories were spent gathered around the TV with her grandfather, mother, and stepfather, bonding over every suplex and slam. Inspired by the warriors she watched, Tara took her first step toward combat sports by training in karate. By the age of 14, she had earned her red belt, but deep down, she knew her true destiny was inside the wrestling ring.

Tara pushed her limits, training harder than ever. Along the way, she met Kara Kai, a fellow martial artist who became her sister-in-arms and the pair formed The Dojo Defenders. Their partnership suddenly turned sour after Kara Kai no-showed to a WOW World Tag Team Title Match and secretly began sabotaging Tara Strike. Now Tara teams with all-star athlete Ashley Blaze, and they are blazing a path to the WOW World Tag Team Championship titles!
